Our Vision

Our Vision

"We envision to reach out to the local community, suburbs of Melbourne, and the ends of the earth by constantly participating in the Great Commission of Christ by spreading the Gospel of Salvation and Eternal Redemption."

  • THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word revealed to man. It is inspired and breathed by the Holyspirit. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17;2 Peter 1: 19-21)
  • GOD ALMIGHTY
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. He exists in Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is omnipotent, omniscient, eternally loving and perfectly holy. (Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19;John 17:11;1 John 4:16)
  • CHRIST OUR SAVIOUR
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and the Lord Jesus Christ is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He is the only begotten Son of GOD through him all things are made. He came down from Heaven and lived a sinless and exemplary earthly life, died on the cross carrying all our sins and resurrected on the third day and ascended to Heaven to prove his victory and empower us for life, is seated at the right hand of Father as the risen Lord and intercessor. (Isaiah 53: 4-6;John 1: 1-14;John 16:6;Colossians 2:13-15;1 Corinthians 15:20)
  • SALVATION
We believe that to receive forgiveness and Salvation, we must repent of our sins. Salvation is obtained by confessing with your mouth, the Lordship of Jesus Christ and believing in our heart that God has raised Him from the Dead and submit to His will for a victorious walk with Christ. We believe that one must be born again to see the Kingdom of God. (John 3;3;Acts 2:38;Romans 10:9;Ephesians 2:8-9;1 John 1:9)
  • WATER BAPTISM
We believe that after believing in the son of God, one should take immersion baptism in the water, in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy spirit on his way to the consummation of his personal salvation. This is the public declaration of one’s faith and action of identifying with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Matt 28:19-20; Mk 16:16; Acts 10:47-48; 2:38-39; Rom 6:4-5; Col 2:12).
  • BAPTISM OF THE HOLYSPIRIT
We believe that to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to produce fruit of the Holyspirit, operate the spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. We believe that the Holy Spirit imparts spiritual gifts to believers for ministry to one another, to build up the body of Christ, and the world.  (Mark 16:16;Acts 1:8;Acts 2:4;Galatians 5: 22-23;Romans 12:6-8;1 Corinthians 12:7-11;1 Peter;1 Cor 12:8-10;Eph 4:11-13 )
  • CHURCH THE BODY OF CHRIST
We believe that the church is the body of Christ and that it has a responsibility to represent Christ unanimously to the world today. We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for Worship, Fellowship, Evangelism, Discipleship and Mission. We believe that Church is instrumental in fulfilling the Great Commission and so therefore we lead missional lives focused on evangelising the people , as the will of God is that none should perish. (Matthew 16: 17-19; Acts 2:42; 1 Corinthians 11; 17-34;1 Corinthians 12-14;1Peter 3:9;Matthew 28:18-20)
  • THE LORD’S SUPPER
We believe in the Lord’s supper, which is in symbolic remembrance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ until he returns.  (Matt 26:26-28; Lk 22:15-20;1 Cor 11:23-26).
  • HIS SECOND COMING OF CHRIST AND FINAL JUDGEMENT
We believe in, and look forward to, the imminent and personal return of Jesus Christ to gather his people to himself, and to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will have no end. We believe in the resurrection of the body and All who believe in Jesus Christ will have everlasting life in the presence of God; Those who reject him will have eternal separation from God. It is the call of all believers to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ until he returns.  (Jn 3:16;Matt 25:46; 13:49-50; Lk 12:47-48; Rom 6:23; 2 Thes 1:8-9; Rev 19:20; 20:10-15;Jn 14:1-3; 1 Thes 4:15-17; 2 Thes 2:1; Tit 2:13; James 5:7-8; 1 Jn 2:28; 3:2-3).
  • DIVINE PROVISION FOR VICTORIOUS LIVING
We believe that every believer is given power to live a victorious, overcoming life. We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to love and worship God, fulfil our role in the church and serve the community in which we live. We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy, wholesome and blessed lives as conquerors in Christ. We believe in living generous lives characterised by regular sowing into the church and Kingdom God as thanksgiving to God and His abundant blessings. (1 John 5:41 Corinthians 11:28-32 John 4: 23-24, Galatians 6:10, Malachi 3:8- 10, 2 Corinthians 9:11, Romans8:37Ephesians 2:10 Joshua 1:8, Matthew 8:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 3 John 2, 2 Corinthians 9:11)
